Refund & Returns Policy
We want every order to reach you with care. If something goes wrong, this policy explains how we review returns, replacements, and refunds.
1. Overview
At TaazaCart, we handle fresh groceries, produce, pantry staples, dairy, and household essentials with care. Because many grocery products are perishable or hygiene-sensitive, returns are not handled like standard non-perishable ecommerce products.
We aim to resolve genuine issues fairly through replacement, refund, wallet credit, or support action depending on the order, product type, issue reported, and policy eligibility.
2. Return and Replacement Eligibility
You may be eligible for a replacement or refund if:
- The item arrives damaged, spoiled, leaking, crushed, or unusable
- You receive the wrong item
- You receive the wrong size, quantity, or variant
- Your order is missing an item
- The package is lost or significantly delayed beyond the expected delivery window
- The product has a verified quality issue at the time of delivery
3. Reporting Window
For fresh produce, dairy, perishable items, and damaged products, please raise the issue within 24 hours of delivery.
For missing items, wrong items, or packaging concerns, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
Late reports may be difficult to verify and may not qualify for refund or replacement.
4. Proof Required
To review your request, TaazaCart may ask for:
- Order ID
- Product name
- Clear photos or short video of the issue
- Packaging photos where relevant
- Delivery date and issue description
Please do not discard the product or packaging until the issue is reviewed, unless it is unsafe to keep.
5. Non-Eligible Situations
Refunds or replacements may not be available for:
- Minor cosmetic marks on fruits or vegetables
- Natural size, color, shape, or taste variation in fresh produce
- Dissatisfaction with sweetness, ripeness preference, or seasonal variation
- Damage caused after delivery
- Incorrect address or customer unavailability
- Products stored incorrectly after delivery
- Issues reported after the eligible reporting window
- Products consumed or used substantially before reporting
- Items marked as final sale or non-returnable where disclosed
6. Refund Methods
Refunds may be processed to the original payment method, TaazaCart Wallet, or another approved method depending on payment mode, refund reason, order type, and system availability.
If an order was paid using TaazaPay, eligible refund handling may be adjusted against the TaazaPay account or statement as per TaazaCart’s TaazaPay rules.
If an order was paid through another method, eligible refunds may be credited to the original payment method or wallet depending on the policy and operational flow.
7. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 working days. Actual credit time may depend on your bank, UPI provider, payment gateway, wallet system, or payment method.
8. Replacement Policy
Where available and appropriate, TaazaCart may offer replacement instead of refund. Replacement depends on stock availability, delivery feasibility, product type, and issue verification.
9. Cancellation Policy
Order cancellation may be available before processing, packing, or dispatch. Once an order is packed, dispatched, or out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible for fresh, perishable, customized, or hygiene-sensitive products.
If cancellation is accepted and payment was already made, refund will be processed according to the applicable refund method and timeline.
10. Final Review
Each refund, replacement, or cancellation request is reviewed individually. TaazaCart reserves the right to approve, reject, or partially approve requests based on the facts of the case, product type, evidence provided, and applicable policy.
